The only reasons I was given for people not turning up were illness- other than that people just didn't respond. Reasons I have had in the past are "I don't like needles". Hmm- who does "like" needles?!

My husband always asks people if they would be happy to receive blood if they were hospitalised. If they would be , why wouldn't they be happy to give blood...
